General machining tasks are carried out by taking full advantage of the equipment Metalform has on hand. Such equipment includes:

A range of center lathes with a capacity up to 530mm diameter and 3 meters long

Auto and manual band saws: with cutting capacity up to 250mm in diameter

Fabrication

Metalform conduct light to medium metal fabrication here in Newcastle. All welding is carried out within our fully equipped fabrication shop. Projects include:

Heat Treatment

At Metalform we pride ourselves on 15 years of experience in heat treatment to steel and alloy steels in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley. The

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining

Metalform hold the ability to offer our clients precision one off or high volume components due to cnc machine facilities. You can expect precision and repeatability from Metalform.

Our aim is to produce high quality end products through the following lathes and machining centers.

CNC Lathes with a capacity of up to 530mm in a diameter and 3000mm long
Bar feeding production runs
CNC machining center with capacity of X1000mm x Y510mm x Z620mm

Due to constantly evolving component design Metalform have adapted processes to meet the Australian manufacturing industry standards.
